| ANDREW WHITE LIVE AT KIJU'S |
|
Friday August 13 & Saturday August 14
|
| |
Show Time 7:30pm (two sets) Entertainment Service Charge - $5.00/person.
ANDREW WHITE Andrew White is a troubadour. He is one of those rare artists who can skillfully combine brilliant finger-style guitar work with a compelling story in lyric and deliver them both in an engaging live performance.
Andrew’s musical journey began at age 16 busking in the streets of Auckland. He quickly earned the reputation as one of the country’s most highly acclaimed acoustic guitarists. Andrew then landed a record deal with US label Narada in 1989, and traveled to world stages performing with artists Clannad, Michelle Shocked, Tommy Emmanuel and John Renbourne. Today, Andrew’s songs can be found on over one million purchased recordings globally.
Andrew’s travels are well documented in his storytelling that he emotionally delivers in reggae, blues, folk and pop genres. When people hear his music he is often mistaken for Sting. Whether you attend a solo or symphony performance, Andrew’s deep connection with his audience leaves them awed by his virtuosity on the guitar and the truth in his lyrics. He delivers every time.
