Mi'kmaq Medicine Walk

Embark on a journey into Mi’kmaq tradition, guided by our Cultural Ambassador, David Meuse. At the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre, guests are invited to connect with the land, the language, and the stories that have shaped Mi’kma’ki for generations.

Learn the healing teachings of the Mi’kmaq Medicine Walk, where nature and spirit walk side-by-side. Create your dreamcatcher, guided by traditional teachings, while enjoying blueberry tea and fresh Luskinikn bread – each element woven within our culture.

These experiences are more than activities – they are opportunities to listen, to learn, and to honour the living culture of the Mi’kmaq people.

Group Bookings

Our cultural experiences are designed for groups seeking connection, learning, and a deeper understanding of Mi’kmaq traditions. We regularly welcome:

    • Cruise passengers looking for meaningful excursions.

    • School groups exploring Indigenous history and culture.

    • Community organizations focused on education and reconciliation.

    • Corporate teams seeking grounding experiences and cultural learning.

    • Local groups wanting to reconnect with Mi’kmaq roots and teachings.

Each group is guided with intention, creating space for shared stories, hands-on learning, and respectful conversation. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to deepen your understanding, we welcome the spirit of Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) so everyone leaves with something to carry forward.
